Renovation monumental farmhouse Gemert
This renovation of an existing monumental farmhouse in Gemert has been thoroughly addressed. The existing farm has been completely stripped and converted into a modern, rustic farmhouse. The renovation of the farm was started in 2017 and delivered in early 2018. Our client did most of the construction on own account. The creative craftsmanship of this self-builder helped to ensure this beautiful end result.
The farmhouse is equipped with a spacious open loft in the kitchen. This gives the room a generous height and ensures a lot of daylight can enter the room. The existing upstairs room has been pulled into the living room, where the visible authentic wooden trusses reinforce the particularly attractive character of the farmhouse.
IHC architects is responsible for both the architecture of the exterior and the interior design. In addition, we have taken care of the construction documents and the application for the environmental permit.
